Man Killed in White Hall Motorcycle Crash

A Joppa man was killed as a result of a late-Wednesday night motorcycle accident in White Hall.

At 11:30 p.m., Baltimore County officers responded to the crash site at Old York and Openshaw roads, according to a police statements. Authorities determined that Larry Stephen Hicks Jr., who was driving a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle, veered off the roadway and struck a utility pole.

Hicks, 47, of the 1900 block of Mountain Road, was traveling eastbound on Old York Road, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is unknown why Hicks went off the roadway. Police are still investigating the accident.
