The National Weather Service is predicting a high near 93 degrees and a chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day in Cockeysville.

According to the website, there is a 50 percent chance of precipitation and an acummulation of a tenth to a quarter inch of rain—though amounts may be higher in the event of thunderstorms.

Temperatures are expected to cool down to 73 degrees at night, the website states. There is only a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms during the evening hours.
