• Arrest made after $40K worth of HVAC units stolen in Maryland, over 10 businesses impacted (wjla.com) — A Hyattsville man has been arrested in connection with thefts of HVAC units worth more than $40,000 that disrupted heating and cooling for over 10 Maryland businesses. Authorities say he was taken into custody after briefly running from deputies, and investigators are still reviewing whether additional charges or related thefts may be tied to the case. 
• Macy's closing store at Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie (wbaltv.com) — Macy’s is closing its store at Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie, but the company says its Hyattsville location remains among the Maryland stores staying open. The Glen Burnie store will hold a clearance sale for several weeks as Macy’s shifts investment to other area branches and online shopping.
