County Announces In-School Vision and Hearing Screenings
Find the dates for the screenings at Anne Arundel County's public schools here.

Anne Arundel County’s Department of Health will conduct mandated in-school vision and hearing screenings throughout February.
Children in preschool, kindergarten, first and eighth grade and students new to Anne Arundel County schools must take the screening. Special education students who receive speech therapy may also be recommended for it.
The screenings will detect if any of the children have vision or hearing problems that may impair the child’s ability to perform successfully in school. A letter will be sent to parents informing them of the results if any deficiency is detected.
