Man Wearing Wig Robs Laurel Bank, Police Say

Police are searching for a man who robbed a Laurel bank while wearing a wig Tuesday afternoon.

LAUREL, MD — Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a Laurel bank while wearing a wig Tuesday afternoon.

The suspect entered the bank in the 14000 block of Baltimore Ave. in Laurel and demanded cash from the teller. The teller, fearing for her safety, complied and gave the suspect money, police said. No one was hurt during the robbery.

The man then fled the bank on foot. Police describe the man as a white male, about 6'0 tall and was wearing wig.
