Military Bowl: 5K Run Map, Parade, Road Closures and More
See what roads will be closed off and where you can find parking in Annapolis.
The Military Bowl, presented by Northrop Grumman to benefit the USO, is on Saturday. Kickoff for the game between Virginia Tech and the University of Cincinnati is set for 1 p.m., but festivities start much earlier in Annapolis.
At 8:15 a.m., the Military Bowl 5K will begin at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and take the following route:
- Taylor Ave. to Herbert Sachs
- Herbert Sachs to Rowe Blvd.
- Rowe Blvd. (Bladen Street) to College Ave.
- College Ave. around Church Circle, to School Street
- School Street around State Circle to Francis Street
- Francis Street O Main Street and around Memorial Circle
- Back up Main Street around Church Circle
- Church Circle to College Ave.
- College Ave. to Bladen Street (Rowe Blvd.)
- Rowe Blvd. to Herbert Sachs to Taylor Ave., ending at the stadium
These roads will be closed beginning at 8 a.m. and remain closed for the duration of the parade.

The Military Bowl Parade, led by the world famous Budweiser Clydesdales, will begin at 9 a.m. at City Dock, and take the following route:
- Move up Main Street and around Church Circle to College Ave.
- Turn left onto Bladen Street and continue along Rowe Blvd.
- Turn left on Taylor Ave.
- End at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium
The parade is expected to last for about one and a half hours.

Roads along the route will re-open on a rolling basis as the parade passes.
No parking will be allowed at City Dock or along Main Street on Saturday from 7 to 11 a.m. Parade spectators are encouraged to use Annapolis public parking garages:
- Gotts Court Parking Garage at 25 Northwest Street
- Knighton Parking Garage at 1A Colonial Ave.
- Park Place at 5 Park Place
There will be a free Circulator trolley to travel around the central business district on game day. The trolley will only run from Park Place Garage along West Street to downtown Annapolis at Church Circle, picking up people along its route.
Following the game, two trolleys will take people from the stadium to downtown Annapolis and back. The shuttle service will run from 3 to 7 p.m. Trolleys will pick up people at the DNR building, at the corner of Taylor Ave. and Herbert Sachs, and take passengers to the top of Main Street at Church Circle. The charge is $1 per passenger each way for the trolleys.
For those not planning on being in Annapolis for the game, it will be televised nationally on ESPN.
