Howard County readers get riled up.

Readers took their opinions to the comments section on Howard County Patch sites this week, flocking most to stories about speed cameras (coming to a neighborhood near you Monday) and th e to appoint two members to the school board in an effort to bring more diversity to the board.
LAUREL: “Geesh! You miss a couple of days from the Patch and look at all the catching up you have to do!” – CarolD on Laurel Patch’s coverage of a Laurel mayoral forum where candidates clashed on funding and pension for Laurel Police.
ELLICOTT CITY: “Now THIS is a sign of how democracy and the power of the people truly work. The overwhelming majority was heard at the public hearing and Del. ELKRIDGE: “I chose to raise my family in Elkridge not because I like the status quo but because Howard County has a history of always trying to do better.
