Residences at Vantage Point Hosts Informative Series on Planning for the Future During Retirement

Joy Loverde, author of "Who Will Take Care of Me When I'm Old," is guest speaker on Thursday, Oct. 23

Residences at Vantage Point is hosting a new Compass Seminar Series, including informative sessions designed to help people plan for the future during retirement.

Concluding the series is Joy Loverde, author of “Who Will Take Care of Me When I’m Old” and the bestselling “The Complete Eldercare Planner” and the guest speaker on Thursday, Oct. 23. Loverde will lead two sessions on everything you need to know to be your own best caregiver. Participants can choose 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. Topics will include:

  • How can I accept and adapt to the curveballs of old age?
  • What are my options for housing?
  • How do I finance a longer life?
  • Who will my caregivers be, and how can I find them?
  • How can I live as I want for as long as possible?

All attendees will receive a complimentary copy of Loverde’s books.

Residences at Vantage Point is home to over 250 residents. It was founded in 1990 and is a nonprofit serving people age 60 and above. Managed by Life Care Services, the community includes a variety of residential living arrangements from studio to two-bedroom deluxe apartments.
