Residences at Vantage Point Raises $10,000 to End Alzheimer's
Retirement community fields 54-member team of residents, employees, friends and family members for fundraiser

Residences at Vantage Point, a retirement community in Downtown Columbia, raised over $10,000 during its 12th participation in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
The Vantage Point team was made up of residents, employees, friends and family members who joined with other community members to raise funds to further the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
This year’s Vantage Point team registered 54 members, many of whom participated in the 2.5 mile walk at Centennial Park where the fundraiser was held, according to Vivian Smith, Vantage Point team captain and Fitness Coordinator. As a member of the Walk Committee, Smith kicked off the walk by leading a warm-up exercise for all the walk participants.
