Dollar General Robber Pulls Knife

The robber was trying to steal soap from the store located in Better Waverly.

A Robber pulled a knife on a security guard who tried to stop the thief from getting away with items stolen from the store.

According to Baltimore police, at 3:28 p.m., Aug. 5, the robber took various items from the Dollar General, located at 2511 Greenmount Ave., and left the store without paying.

As the thief left the store, a security guard approached and the robber pulled out a knife and threatened the guard.

The robber then dropped five packs of Lever 2000 soap, nine packs of Cares soap and 49 bars of dove soap before running away headed east. 

Because a knife was used Baltimore police have recorded the crime as an attempted robbery.
