$500,000 Green Cards and Headlines Galore

A look back at a very busy week in news.

The last week and a half were full of captivating headlines. Whether it was or a local track coach facing , we at Patch had our hands full.

Last week began realtively calm. The buzz of the 10th anniversary of 9/11 had all but faded and the biggest news of the day pertained to , the track at . 

Things picked up as the Washington Post released a story, revealing that the Cordish Cos. planned to utilize an international business program that would allow the distrubition of green cards .

The Post's article also showed that program allowed for such an exchange because the investments would create 10 jobs, the requirement for earning a green card.

Patch is still reaching out to the Cordish Cos. for more information, and to follow up on the comany's attempt to solidify a Bobby Flay restuarant for the Maryland Live! site at Arundel Mills Mall.
