Armed Robbery at 7-Eleven

The robbery took place Tuesday morning just after 2 a.m.

Anne Arundel County Police said a man in his early 20’s used a handgun to rob the 7-Eleven on Annapolis Road early Tuesday morning.

The store clerk told police the man entered the store displaying a handgun and ordered him to hand over some money. Police said the clerk, standing behind the counter, agreed and handed over an undisclosed amount of money.

The robber ran away. Police, using a K9 unit and a helicopter, searched the area, but said they couldn't find the man.

Police said the robber was about 5 fee, 7 inches tall, 185 pounds, and was wearing a white towel with black spots to cover his face.
