Arundel Boys Earn #2 Seed in Basketball Playoffs
The Wildcats earned a first round bye, then will face the winner of the game between Leonardtown and Chesapeake

The Arundel High School boys basketball team earned the second seed in its region and a first-round bye as it prepares for the MPSSAA Class 4A playoffs.
The Wildcats, who finished the regular season at 20-2 and without a loss in the county, will face the winner between Leonardtown and Chesapeake.
Playoff basketball begins on Feb. 26.

Here's a look at the playoff seedings for other local teams:
Meade Boys - The No. 3 seeded Mustangs have a first-round bye and will face the winner the game between Broadneck and Great Mills.

Old Mill Boys - The Patriots are the No. 4 seed and will face North County or Severna Park in the second round.
South River Boys - The Seahawks are the No. 8 seed and will host Glen Burnie in the first round.
Arundel Girls - Earned the No. 3 seed and will host the winner between Great Mills and Leonardtown.
Meade Girls - They are the 10th seed and will travel to Broadneck for their opening game.
Old Mill Girls - The No. 4 seed earned a first-round bye and will play the winner of the game between Severna Park and Glen Burnie.
South River Girls - The No. 2 seed has a first-round bye and will face the winner of the game between Broadneck and Meade.
