BASKETBALL: Arundel and South River Face Off

The Arundel boys have yet to lose in the county and are coming off a dominant win against Old Mill.

Basketball rivals Arundel High and South River will play Tuesday, with the Wildcat boys looking to continue an unblemished run through the county schedule. 

The Arundel boys are 16-2 overall and stand atop the county standings. They are coming off a dominant 70-35 win over Old Mill last Friday. Senior Ryan Hill scored 20 points with 10 rebounds, while Marcus Oliphant and Austin Carroll scored eight points each.

The South River boys enter the game with a 4-14 record but recorded a 69-60 win over Northeast on Friday. Jahair Jones scored 17 points in the win.

On the girls side, Arundel is coming off a 68-64 win over Old Mill. The Lady Wildcats are 12-5 on the year. 

The South River girls are having a strong season, with a 15-3 record following Friday's 81-42 win over Northeast.
