Carjacking Reported on Chestnut Terrace Court

Anne Arundel County police said a man used a handgun to steal a car from a driveway in Odenton on Wednesday night. 

Officers responded at about 10:45 p.m. to the 2400 block of Chestnut Terrace Court and spoke to a woman who said she and a family member wer unloading items from her car when a man approached them with a gun.

The suspect demanded the woman's phone, purse and car keys and then drove off in the victim's car. 

The stolen car was described as a 2000 Acura TL with Maryland tag LNS968. The victim was not able to offer a detailed description of the suspect.
