According to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation website, "The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted."
Over the years, Bell said he has preferred playing the role of “rally uncle,” and enjoys getting the kids riled up, knowing that he’s not responsible for putting them to bed.

Bell said the program with Toys for Tots is a win-win situation for customers.
“People are getting what they need to get done and I’m filling out our Toys for Tots donations,” Bell said. “If people want to stop and drop a toy off without getting serviced, we’re fine with that, too.”
Bell said he hopes to fill at least one box full of toys and that the shop will need 40 to 50 toys to do that.
The shop is located just off Reece Road and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
