Expert in the Kitchen? Put Your Skills to the Test

The Maryland Home & Garden show is inviting local chefs and cooks to test their skills at the Maryland State Fairgrounds Oct. 14-16.

Are you a master of meatloaf? Can you whisk like a wizard? If so, consider competing and representing Severn at the Maryland Home & Garden Show at the state fairgrounds in Timonium Oct. 14-16.

Featuring amateur chefs and local “foodies,” the event invites anyone who thinks they have what it takes to go up against the area’s best cooks in the IKEA Kitchen Stage in a holiday cook-off. The show will provide participants a cooktop, refrigerator, microwave and 30 minutes to prepare any holiday meal of their choice.

From there, contenders will have to impress three judges with their creativity, presentation and, of course, taste.
