Fatal Crash Outside Bingo Hall Claims Pedestrian: Anne Arundel Police
A hit-and-run crash claimed a pedestrian's life outside a bingo hall, Anne Arundel County police said.

LAUREL, MD — A pedestrian died after a hit-and-run crash outside a Laurel bingo hall, the Anne Arundel County Police Department announced recently.
Officers identified the victim as 34-year-old Devin Michael Jones of Laurel.
Authorities said the crash happened July 21 around 3:40 a.m. in the driveway to Delta Bingo, located at 3605 Laurel Fort Meade Road.

An unknown vehicle hit the victim when it turned right from eastbound Laurel Fort Meade Road into the bingo hall's access road between a storage facility and a gas station, police said.
Officers said the vehicle drove away "in an unknown direction and likely sustained damage to its undercarriage and front bumper area."

Authorities said medics took the victim to Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center in Columbia, where he was pronounced dead.
