Foot Chase Leads to Arrest of One in Attempted Robbery

Despite using the efforts of a K-9 unit, Anne Arundel County Police are still looking for one man linked to an armed robbery in Severn Thursday afternoon. 

Around noon Thursday, Officers received a call about two men forcing their way into the back of a residence in the 1800 block of Oriole Court. Upon arrival, police witnessed the men fleeing on foot.

Capt. Jerard Flemings, a commanding officer in the Western District, captured one of the suspects after a foot chase, according to a police press release.

Other police officers surrounded the area but were unable to find the second man.
