Fort Meade Reveals Run Series Schedule

Fort Meade has revealed its full schedule of 5K races as part of the Fort Meade Run series.

The run series is open to the public and features seven 5K races on Saturdays between April and December.

Each race will also feature a 1-mile fun run. Top finishers in each age group are eligible for prizes, and all participants will get a T-shirt.

The first race will be the Earth Day 5K on April 20. 

All races will begin at 8 a.m. and will cost $15 to enter if you register in advance. On-site registration is $25, and there are discounts if you enter as part of a family or group. 

The run series schedule is as follows: 

• Earth Day 5K - April 20, Burba Lake Pavilion
• Patriot Pride 5K - May 18, Murphy Field House
• Army Birthday Summer Sizzler 5K - June 15, Meade Pavilion
• Football Fan Fair 5K - Sept. 21, Constitution Park
• Ghouls Ghosts and Goblins 5K - Oct. 26, Meade Pavilion
• Turkey Trot 5K - Nov. 23, Murphy Field House
• Reindeer Run 5K - Dec. 14, Murphy Field House
