Friendly's in Hanover Robbed by Man with Handgun
Police said a man forced an employee to take him into the restaurant.

Monday morning after its location in Hanover was robbed early Monday morning prior to opening, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
An employee of the restaurant told officers that she was entering the restaurant prior to opening and was approached by a man with a handgun. The man then had the woman take him into the Friendly’s where he took an undisclosed amount of money from the business, police said.
The robber then fled on foot but after canvassing the area, police were unable to find the suspect.

The robbery came just one week after the executives of Friendly’s restaurants .
