Daheem Bryant-Royal was convicted of sexually assaulting an underage girl in the installation in 2011.

A U.S. District judge has sentenced a man to 10 years in prison after he was convicted of raping a girl in a house on Fort Meade.Â
Daheem Bryant-Royal, 23, was also sentenced to five years of supervised release and must register as a sex offender, according to the U.S. Attorney's office in Baltimore.Â
According to evidence presented at trial, the victim in the case, who was under 18, was staying at a house on Fort Meade in September of 2011 and attended a party there. After becoming intoxicated, she went into a bathroom and that is where Bryant-Royal sexually assaulted her. Â
Prosecutors said the victim reported the rape immediately and agreed to a rape examination. DNA evidence recovered from the test was determined to belong to Bryant-Royal.Â
