Man Shot In Severn Neighborhood: Police
A man was shot in a Severn neighborhood, police said. He was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

SEVERN, MD — A 31-year-old man was shot Monday evening in Severn, police said.
Officers said the victim was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities said the shooting victim approached patrol officers around 6:05 p.m. in the 1100 block of Reece Road.

The victim told police that he was shot in the torso, a press release said.
Officers said they gave first aid until medics arrived and took him to a hospital.

Authorities said the shooting happened in front of a home in the nearby 8500 block of Pioneer Drive. That's located in the Pioneer City neighborhood.
