MARC Warns Riders of Heat Impact
The rail service has already put in place heat orders for two lines this afternoon.

The MARC rail service is warning riders to take caution due to Wednesday's forecast of high temperatures.
The rail service said that CSX has already put in place heat orders on the Camden and Brunswick lines for this afternoon, meaning that maximum train speeds will be reduced by 20 miles per hour.
On the Penn Line, heat orders will not be issued until temperatures top 95 degrees.

MARC warned passengers to avoid running to trains and to drink plenty of water. It also suggested that riders waiting on platforms apply sunscreen.
