Meade Village Boys & Girls Club Gets a Much-Needed Facelift
The location was renovated on all levels, ranging from desks to new computers.
received a fresh coat of paint, new furniture and updated technology throughout the complex as a part of a rededication project sponsored by the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation and Team Dynamix.
The effort took place Oct. 6 and sought to provide an entirely new atmosphere to the youth facility.
The school was in desperate need of renovations. Chipped paint lined the walls and handmade "out of order" signs covered several of the facility's computers. Since the day-long renovation effort, children have enjoyed new features at the complex including new computers in the Teen and Tech Center along with a new Arts and Craft room.

Maryland Attorney General Douglas F. Gansler was also in attendance and spoke to families and volunteers in the surrounding Meade Village community.
