New Restaurant Planned for Annapolis Road

A developer of the Meade Center project on Annapolis Road is expected to propose the construction of a restaurant on the site, scrapping earlier plans for a day care center. 

Fortis Development will present plans for the restaurant at Tuesday to the Odenton Town Center Plan Oversight Committee, according to the meeting's agenda. The restaurant could allow the rest of the development of Meade Center to move forward with other office space and retail totaling more than 40,000 square feet. 

The Meade Center site is located on Annapolis Road in Odenton, just north of Berger Street. 

Also on Tuesday, the town center committee will finalize its 2013 Annual report and review its final list of priority infrastructure projects to be submitted to the county. 

The town center committee will meet Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Western District Police Station, 8273 Telegraph Rd.
