This week marked the beginning of a long road of transition for Anne Arundel Community College.
The Anne Arundel County Council proposed a of the school to measure the organization in several aspects ahead of its leadership change in 2012.
The Council hopes to gain as much information as possible about the college during the audit even though the assistant director of PR at the college claims there is a strong fiscal process in place and that as of the afternoon before the hearing, the school was not informed of such an audit.

On Friday, Gov. O’Malley spoke to the press and the state announcing his plans to create new legislation in 2012 that would legalize gay marriage.

“There are certain fundamental beliefs that unite us,” O’Malley said. “Among them are belief in the dignity of every individual and also our understanding.”
“Our country’s history is a history of the ongoing story of a people who strive for a more perfect union and who constantly improve its laws to protect fundamental freedoms,” said the governor.

The Battle for the Road
Pedestrians vs. Vehicles has been an ongoing topic the past few weeks. With at least seven instances occurring in Anne Arundel County alone, we decided to look a bit deeper as to the circumstances surrounding the high number of hit pedestrians and what people think about the issue.
