Phillips Seafood Set to be Added to Casino at Arundel Mills

The announcement came Tuesday at a grand opening at the Power Plant in Baltimore.

Phillips Seafood will open a new restaurant at the Maryland Live! Casino at Arundel Mills, the company announced Tuesday.

Best known for their crabs and seafood dishes, Phillips will be included in the casino as part of the “Live! Market” section of the complex.

The announcement came after a grand opening ceremony at the Power Plant in Baltimore. Steve Phillips, president and CEO of Phillips Foods & Seafood Restaurants and David Cordish, chairman and CEO of The Cordish Companies said their successful partnership in Baltimore paved the way for Phillips’ addition to the gaming center at Arundel Mills.

“Just as Phillips’ has become a tremendous new addition to the Power Plant, it is sure to become a favorite at Maryland Live! Casino,” Cordish said in the release. “When you have such a great working relationship with a company, it only made sense to expand and build on that relationship.”

Founded in 1956 and best known for their crab cakes, the Baltimore-based seafood king has 19 locations on the east coast and will join The Cheesecake Factory and a Bobby Flay restaurant inside the restaurant.
