Plans for Shipley's Homestead up For Review

Members of the public this month can get a glimpse of sketch plans for a sizable development at Ridge Road and Route 175. 

Developer Riva Properties will present sketch plans for Shipley's Homestead, a mixed-use development on 75-acre parcel across from the Ridgeway shopping center. 

The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on August 26 at the Jessup Improvement Association Community Building, 2920 Jessup Rd. 

The parcel was re-zoned in 2011 to allow for a higher density of homes and to allow for commercial development, according to county records
