A 22-year-old man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries May 2, after he was assaulted at the Walmart on George Clauss Boulevard off Quarterfield Road, according to Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman Capt. James Rostek.
The man was found unconscious around 11:16 p.m. Sunday and taken to the trauma center in Baltimore.
A man robbed the 1st Mariner Bank in Odenton at about 11:15 a.m. May 9, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

The man entered the bank and began shouting at bank tellers while announcing the robbery, according to a release from police. He then handed over a bag and demanded the workers fill it with money, which they did, police said.
Cameras throughout the bank were able to photograph the man, but police were asking for the public's help in identifying the man.

Located on the 1600 block of Annapolis Road/Rt. 175, the robbery took place just outside of the Severn border.
A woman involved in a serious car collision on Grambrills Road on May 3, was declared to be in stable condition, according to personnel at The University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center on May 10.
The driver flipped her car, struck a tree and was flown to Shock Trauma shortly after the accident. Initially, Chief Michael Cox of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department said the woman faced life-threatening injuries.
The accident occurred around 1:30 p.m. on May 3 at Gambrills Road near the . Due to the seriousness of the patient’s injuries, a helicopter landed in an open field near the church to fly her to the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
Two children were also in the vehicle during the accident and both needed medical attention, Cox said. He did not know age and gender of the children, he said.
Police identified a body found on May 6 in the Jones Falls River as Emma Eileen Baltimore, according to reports in The Baltimore Sun and The Capital.
According to the reports, Baltimore, 66, was a Pasadena resident and the wife of Wilbert L. Baltimore, a bishop in the King's Apostle Holiness Church of God, which has headquarters at the in Annapolis.
Last Friday, police found the body about 10 a.m. in the 1800 block of Union Avenue between the Woodberry and Hampden neighborhoods.
At the time, police said there was no apparent foul play.
Anne Arundel County Police arrested three men on May 13 in connection with the theft of an outside air conditioner unit and heating unit from a home on Drive Lane in Severn.
At about 1:56 p.m., May 13, officers received a tip from a neighbor that three men left in two vehicles after tampering with the unit. Police learned that the suspects were driving a green Jeep Cherokee and a blue Ford pickup truck.
After a search, police found all three men in the Jeep Cherokee. Police allege that the suspects were on their way to scrap the units’ parts for money. During the traffic stop, the inner parts of the heating and cooling units were found inside the vehicle, police said.
According to police, the three men stripped the units of their motors and copper parts at a secret location before heading to scrap the stolen goods for profit.
After further investigation, police also located the blue Ford pickup truck used during the alleged theft.
A Severn teenager was assaulted and robbed May 16, behind the 8200 block of Severn Orchard Circle, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
Police said a group of six walked past the 15-year-old before one of them hit the teenager from behind, knocking him to the ground. Officers said the same individual who struck the teen also stole money before unsuccessfully trying to steal the victim’s shoes.
When officers arrived on scene around 6:30 p.m., all the suspects had fled the area, said police.
The victim identified several of the suspects by name, including one 15-year-old from Baltimore City who was driven by a relative to the Western District Police Station on Sunday where he was charged on a juvenile citation with robbery, theft under $100 and second-degree assault, said police.
A man broke into a home on Gabriel Garth Court the morning of May 17.
According to police, the burglary occurred just before 3:57 a.m. in the 7800 block of Gabriel Garth Court. Officers spoke with a 39-year-old woman who said she woke up to the sound of someone trying to forcefully enter her home.
The victim also said she saw the burglar inside her house near the front door before the suspect ran toward Morgan Station Road, according to police. The homeowner said the intruder was wearing all black clothing and a ski mask.
Officers said no property was stolen from the home and after searching the area, police were unable to find the intruder.
A routine moving violation on Reece Road led to a drug arrest and the seizing of more than $1,700 worth of marijuana on May 20, according to police.
At around 11:29 a.m., an officer noticed a Chevy Tahoe fail to signal a turn at the intersection of Meade Village and Reece roads. The officer turned on his emergency lights in an effort to pull over the vehicle. However, the driver only slowed down and veered to the right of the lane before throwing out a bag of an unknown substance, according to police.
At that point, the officer turned off his lights and followed the Tahoe. The driver of the SUV once again moved to the shoulder and threw out another bag of an unidentified substance.
Police followed the Tahoe until the driver eventually pulled off into the Exxon gas station located in the 800 block of Reece Road.
The driver was arrested without confrontation. Police searched the two locations where the bags were thrown and found a bag of high-grade marijuana and other paraphernalia.
Police said the marijuana had a street value of $1,738.
A woman from Washington, DC, was arrested May 20 after she attempted to rob the BWI Liquors store in Hanover, according to police.
Police said the woman took a taxi from Hyattsville earlier in the evening but did not have enough money to pay for the ride. She had the driver pull over in front of the liquor store located in the 7500 block of Connelley Drive where she entered the store demanding money.
Despite threatening that she had a handgun, the store owner challenged the suspect, who left after being confronted, said police.
"[The owner] challenged her verbally. In other words, he would not comply with her demands," said police spokesman Justin Mulcahy, in an email to Patch.
After the 27-year-old woman left the store, the owner called an off-duty officer in the area. The officer arrived on scene and successfully detained the woman in the liquor store parking lot, according to police.
Further investigations revealed that woman was carrying a loaded 9mm handgun in her purse.
