Police Arrest Yields $165,000 Worth of Marijuana

Two men were arrested in Hanover Thursday and charged with possessing more than 8,200 grams of marijuana with an estimated street value of about $165,000, according to a release from Anne Arundel County Police.

Police said the two men frequently visited a hotel in the Hanover area, but did not specify which one.

The men were identified as Herwood Walters II, 24, of Coral Springs, FL and Romain Davis, 25, of Glen Burnie.

Police said they worked alongside the Special Enforcement Section and the Maryland State Police Interdiction Group as part of the investigation.

The two men have been charged with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and that no additional information was available.
