Police: Friendly Thieves Targeting Shoppers in Hanover

Anne Arundel County police said they are looking for a man and woman suspected of distracting shoppers by chatting with them and then stealing their wallets. 

Police released surveillance photos of the pair, who are suspected of carrying out thefts at the Safeway store in Hanover. The most recent thefts took place on July 12 and 14, and police said the pair has used stolen credit cards at other stores.
