Police to Release Evidence in Eastern Shore Murder

Edmond A. St. Clair, a Severn native and student at the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore, was killed on Feb. 16.

Maryland State Police said they will release a key piece of evidence relating to the murder of a student and Severn native in February.

Police will brief the public Wednesday on the investigation into the Feb. 16 murder of Edmond St. Clair, a 21-year-old student. Police said they would show a photo of an item recovered during the investigation, in the hopes that someone may have had the item in their possession at the time of the killing.

According to police, St. Clair was a passenger in a car crossing the campus in Princess Anne, MD. He and two others in the car met several people walking across the street and a fight ensued. St. Clair died from stab wounds suffered during the fight.
