Pro Lacrosse Teams Announce Tryouts in Gambrills

Two Major League Lacrosse teams will hold a joint open tryout in Gambrills to prepare for the 2013 training camps. 

The Chesapeake Bayhawks and Denver Outlaws will hold tryouts on March 9 at Athletic Performance, Inc. (API) on Route 3. 

Interested players must register in advance and be registered in the MLL open player pool. 

According to the Bayhawks' website, the tryout will consist of short combines where players will be evaluated based on 40-yard dash time, vertical jump and game-like drills. 

The Bayhawks beat the Outlaws in the MLL championship game in August. The teams begin their 2013 seasons in May.
