
The in Severn was robbed early Thursday morning after police said a man used a handgun to rob the store’s clerk.
According to police, officers responded to a call of the robbery around 4:09 a.m. When police arrived, they spoke with a man who said he was behind the register when another man walked inside the store with a handgun.
The suspect then approached the cashier and demanded money. The employee said he complied and then the robber fled the scene on foot.

Police described the suspect as a black man with a heavy build and a dark-colored tattoo on his left arm, gray New Balance shoes, a blue American Eagle T-shirt, wearing a black hat with a white emblem.
