School Board to Vote on Local Construction Work
The board will review contracts for work at Crofton Elementary School and Arundel High.

The Anne Arundel County Board of Education this week is expected to approve more than $13.5 million worth of contracts for work on revitalizing Crofton Elementary School, as well as adding a dimmer system in the Arundel and Annapolis High auditoriums.
The board will vote on the contracts at its meeting Wednesday at 10 a.m.
There are 11 contracts in all, most relating to a renovation and expansion of Crofton Elementary School, due to be completed by September of 2015.

The contracts range in cost from $500,000 to more than $4.5 million, and cover nearly every element of construction, including site and structural work, masonry, concrete, roofing and electrical work.
The dimmer system at Arundel High School, meanwhile, is estimated to cost $141,156.
