The United States reached its debt ceiling—$14.294 trillion—two months ago, according to C NN Money.

People throughout the nation are eager to see how Washington will solve the debt issue and address the financial fears of many Americans.

Severn Patch set out to see what local, everyday people thought about the hot-button issue.
