As of 8:30 a.m. Monday, more than 94,000 BGE customers were without electricity in the county. The greatest concentrations of residents without power existed in Annapolis, Odenton, Laurel, and other parts of Anne Arundel County that touch the Chesapeake Bay.

Many homes in Severn lost power between 9 and 11 p.m. Saturday night. However, many homes had their electricity restored by Sunday afternoon. That is not the case for residents of Odenton, Crofton, Annapolis and Severna Park.

According to BGE's map, Severn only possesses small pockets of homes without power, totalling up to 250 homes in a designated area. Other than that, Severn only has smaller areas of outages in home clusters ranging from 15 to 50.

When added up, the BGE map indicates that about 2,000 homes are without power in Severn, a much friendlier number in comparison to other towns in Anne Arundel County.

Odenton, Crofton, Severna Park and Annapolis have power outage clusters ranging from areas of 50 homes to as many as 2,500 without electricity.

In Odenton alone, as many as 10,000 homes are without power in neighborhoods like Four Seasons, Maple Ridge and Waugh Chapel.

One resident of Chapel Village in Piney Orchard said power went out at 1 a.m. Monday, after never going out during the storm itself, according to Odenton Patch Editor Tim Lemke.
