Severn Man Stabbed in Ellicott City
Brian Black Jr., 29, of Severn was identified as the victim in an incident that took place early Saturday morning.
A Severn man was stabbed by an Ellicott City resident early Saturday morning, according to the Howard County Police Department.
First reported by WBAL in Baltimore, Brian Black Jr. of Severn was in the 8300 block of Main Street in Ellicott City when he was allegedly stabbed by Christopher Thomas Hecker, 23, of Ellicott City around 2:30 a.m.
According to the report, witnesses said Black tried to enter Hecker's SUV and after some arguing, a fight broke out. During the physical altercation, Black was stabbed multiple times. After Black was injured, the witnesses in the report said they saw Hecker get behind the wheel and drive away.

The report said Black was taken to Shock Trauma with life-threatening injuries but that his condition had improved and Black was now listed as being in "stable condition."
