Severn Woman Arrested in Connection with Stabbing
Police reported finding substantial amounts of heroin, cocaine and marijuana.

A Severn woman was arrested on multiple charges Tuesday afternoon relating to the stabbing of a local man and possessing more than $12,000 worth of heroin, cocaine and marijuana, according to Anne Arundel County Police Department.
Around 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, police received a report of a stabbing in the 1700 block of Richfield Drive in Severn. Officers spoke with an injured 20-year-old man who said he knew the woman who attacked him and a further investigation led to her arrest, according to a police release.
Officers reportedly found substantial amounts of suspected heroin, cocaine and marijuana in plain sight, according to the police release. The drugs had a street value around $12,300, police said.

Police said Stacie Nashae Beauford, 22, faces charges of first- and second-degree assault. drug possession and intent to distribute.
Beauford was also arrested in April 2011 on charges of second-degree assault but the case is now closed, according to the Maryland Judiciary online case files.

The 20-year-old man who suffered the stab wounds was taken to the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore but his injuries were not life-threatening, according to the release.
