Officers stopped the car and detained the five people who were inside. Police also found and recovered a handgun on Crain Highway, near the exit of the Moose Lodge parking lot.
According to police, an investigation determined that the incident was a result of the men not being allowed into the party taking place at the Moose Lodge, which had been rented out for a 16th birthday party.
Officers reported that, despite a rental agreement that stated security was to be provided by the renter, there was no security in place.
A request for comment from someone with the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge was not immediately returned.
