Spalding Girls Basketball Team to Appear on ESPN2

The Archbishop Spalding Girls Basketball team will appear on ESPN2 on Saturday, as it plays in the finals of a national tournament.
Spalding will play Dr. Phillips High School in the championship of the National High School Invitational.
The game will air live on ESPN2 at 11 a.m.

It is taking place at Georgetown Prep in Bethesda.
Spalding gained attention by going 28-1 on the season and winning the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference. The team also went on to take second in the Bishop Walsh Invitational Tournament.
