Taxi Driver Robbed at Gunpoint
Police said the suspect donned a red bandanna to conceal his face as he approached the cab.

A taxi driver was robbed at gunpoint early Thursday morning according to police.
Around 2:09 a.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery that occurred around 25 minutes earlier. Police said they then spoke with a 32-year-old taxicab driver who claimed a man with a handgun demanded entry into his cab.
The alleged robber wore a red bandanna over his face and ordered the driver to take him a short distance to the intersection of Pioneer Dr. and Jacobs Rd., according to police.

After arriving at his destination, the suspect ordered the driver to hand over an undisclosed amount of money and then ran away on foot.
Officers searched the area but were unable to find the alleged robber.

Police said the suspect was wearing a black baseball cap, a black T-shirt, blue jeans, a red bandanna over his face and black nylon gloves.
