Terps Sign Former Meade Football Player

Moise Larose has been recruited to play offensive line for the University of Maryland.

A former Meade High football player has signed to play at the University of Maryland this fall.

Moise Larose, an Odenton native, played at Meade before transferring to Wilde Lake High School in Columbia. He'll next be donning the red and gold as offensive lineman in College Park.

Larose was ranked the no. 25 player in Maryland by Rivals.com, and was rated first-team all-Metro by the Washington Post.

In a video on the Terps football website, Maryland offensive line coach Tom Brattan described Larose as a good student who is "big, rangy, quick and athletic."

"You can really see, as many big guys do, he blossomed late," Brattan said. "I think he has a very bright future."
