Tina Frost, Arundel High Grad Shot In Las Vegas, Takes First Steps After Being In Coma
A 2008 graduate of Arundel High School, Tina Frost was shot in the right eye on Oct. 1 in Las Vegas.

Tina Frost, the young woman who was critically wounded and was in a coma after being shot at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas, took her first steps on Friday, her family said in an update posted to a GoFundMe page.
"Today has also been a big day for our TT - she is now waking up! She opens her left eye just a lil and looks all around the room at us, taps her feet whenever music is playing, continues to squeeze our hands, and even gives Austin a thumbs up when asked," her mother, Mary Watson Moreland, wrote. "She sometimes taps to music and also took her first steps today with the assistance of the nurses - 3 steps to the chair and 3 steps back to the bed."
Frost, 27, is a 2008 graduate of of Arundel High School. She was shot in the right eye, which doctors removed in surgery.

A GoFundMe page was set up by the family to "cover all expenses related to this tragic event such as traveling, food, hotels, missed work, and caring for Tina," the page says. Frost had traveled to the country music festival from San Diego, where she works for an accounting firm.
The Hideaway restaurant in Odenton hosted a fundraiser for the family on Thursday. Another fundraiser for the Frost family was scheduled to take place from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Molloy's Irish Pub in Gambrills.
