Twitter Users React to Manning Verdict

Supporters of the former Army intelligence officer said the 35-year jail sentence was too harsh, while others labeled him a traitor.

Bradley Manning, the former Army intelligence analyst who admitted sending classified documents to the anti-secrecy website Wikileaks, has been sentenced to 35 years in jail. 

Twitter users immediately reacted to the news, with many arguing that the sentence was too stiff. Others labeled him a traitor and said he deserved a harsher sentence.
