Two Sent to Shock Trauma in Unrelated Accidents
One of the men was a 22-year-old who suffered an accident on his BMX bike at Severn Danza Park.
Two different incidents around Severn sent two men to shock trauma Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.
A 22-year-old man was hospitalized after a bike accident at the around 7 p.m., according to Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman Lt. Frank Fennell. He was taken to the shock trauma center in Baltimore with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
Almost 12 hours later, a 31-year-old man was also taken to shock trauma after sustaining serious injuries in a motorcycle accident Wednesday morning around 6:26 a.m., according to Fennell.

The accident occurred near Dorsey Road and Aviation Boulevard, and Fennell said the motorcyclists injuries were not life-threatening.
