Video Documents Last Week's Three-Alarm Fire
A fire that caused more than $400,000 in damage was captured on film of the Odenton Volunteer Fire Department working the scene.
Last week's three-alarm fire on Faulkner Road caused more than $400,000 worth of damage, and as members of the Odenton Volunteer Fire Department assisted in its extinction, someone caught some video too.
Lt. Cliff Kooser, Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman, said the fire began around 6:20 p.m. and caused $370,000 in damage to the home on Faulkner Road plus $40,000 worth of damage to surrounding houses.
The video shows that the flames spread across several yards and produced smoke from several residences.

Firefighters used ladders to extinguish the flames from high points to keep the fire from spreading further. Kooser said a preliminary investigation indicated the fire was started by some improperly discarded smoking products.
