(Video) Flash Flooding Causes Hellish Driving Scenario

Emergency personnel are urging drivers to be wary of standing water, saying that it could lead to dangerous hydroplaning.

In what some are calling "round two" of Irene, The National Weather Service has declared a Flash Flood Warning for Severn and the surrounding area.

In Anne Arundel and Howard counties, low-rising areas have already seen a dramatic increase in water flow. In Ellicott City, a river literally rushed through Main Street.

For the next couple of days, the weather service said there is a 100 percent chance of precipitation, with heavy downpours occurring throughout the week. Rain accumulation looks to be around a quarter of an inch, according to NWS.
