Week Ahead: College Fair, Lacrosse, Democrats

This week's list of key events features a big college fair, a local lacrosse clash and a high school musical.

College Fair at Annapolis Area Christian School

When: Tuesday, 6:30 p.m.
Where: Annapolis Area Christian School
Details: Representatives from more than 60 colleges will be on hand. 

Old Mill vs. Arundel Lacrosse

When: Tuesday, 5 p.m.
Where: Old Mill High School
Details: It's a local lacrosse clash. The boys' teams get going at 5 p.m. and the girls will follow. Arundel boys have yet to lose this year. 

Anne Arundel County Board of Education Meeting

When: Wednesday, 7 p.m.
Where: Board of Education Parham Building, 2644 Riva Rd., Annapolis
Details: The school board will vote on a new policy regarding social media and hear a presentation from county library administrator Skip Auld. Also, the board will vote on a contract relating to asbestos remediation work at several schools in west county.

33rd District Democrats Meeting

When: Thursday, 6 p.m.
Where: Perry's Restaurant
Details: The local democratic club will host Delegate Pam Beidle, who will discuss the results of the 2013 legislative session. 

Guys and Dolls at Arundel High

When: Thursday-Sunday
Where: Arundel High
Details: The Arundel Players Theater Company continues its run of the classic musical.
